Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the kecerdasanbuatan.consulting website and the services of KB Consulting, you agree to be bound by these terms & conditions. If you don't agree, please don't continue using them.

Our services

KB Consulting offers software consulting, design and development services. The specific scope of each engagement is defined in a separate contract signed before the build phase.

Our business model: "pay after the MVP is built & tested". Full details are on the Process page. Each individual contract will cover:

• Scope of work (what gets built and what doesn't)
• Timeline & milestones
• Deliverables
• Final price & payment terms
• Obligations of both parties

Intellectual property

Source code & design: Upon final payment, all source code, designs and technical documentation we create for your project become entirely yours. We transfer the Git repository, Figma files and credentials to you.

Exceptions: open-source libraries we use (MIT, Apache, GPL, etc.) remain subject to their respective licenses. We document every third-party dependency along with its license.

Showcase: we may feature the work in our portfolio (website, LinkedIn, Instagram) unless you explicitly request confidentiality in the contract.

Payment

Under the pay-after-delivery model, you pay after the MVP is finished, tested, and you sign off on launch. Details:

• The invoice is issued once the launch milestone is reached & handover is complete.
• Payment by Indonesian bank transfer (BCA/Mandiri/BNI account details are provided in the contract).
• Terms: 14 days from the invoice date.
• Late payment fee: 1% per week of delay (capped at 10% of the invoice total).

For monthly retainers / maintenance: invoiced at the start of each month, payable within 7 days.

Limitation of liability

We work to professional standards and strive to deliver the best quality. However, we are not liable for:

• Business losses caused by data-entry errors on your side.
• Downtime or disruption of third-party services (cloud providers, payment gateways, external APIs) outside our control.
• Consequences of source-code modifications made by other parties after handover.
• Business decisions you make based on data/reports from the system we built.

Our total liability is capped at the contract value of the engagement in question.

Cancellation

You may cancel an engagement at any time before the launch invoice is issued at no cost — this is the heart of our risk-reversal model. We only ask that you communicate the decision via WhatsApp or email.

Once the launch invoice has been issued and the deliverables handed over, payment must be completed according to the contract.

Maintenance & support

After launch, we provide a 30-day warranty with free bug fixes — provided the bug falls within the original scope. After 30 days, changes and maintenance are billed at the retainer or project rate.

Governing law

These terms & conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. In the event of a dispute, we prioritize resolution through deliberation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be settled at the Indramayu District Court.
